Developed with a cigar box (the kind used to store crayons when we were in kindergarten) in mind, we wanted a shave kit that had 360 degrees of accessibility when opened, but also maintained a sleek profile when stored. We like to get a lot from a little.

One main compartment zipper with a widemouth opening, and additional zippered accessory storage on top of the lid. A latching grab handle enhancement for ease of attachment and security.

  • Handcrafted with our weather-resistant 18 oz. waxed canvas or extremely durable, weather-resistant Vintage Camo comprised of double-layered polyester fabric. We use a water / weather resistant polyester than is backed by a second layer of the same so it's both highly abrasion-resistant, won't absorb water & drys faster. It also has a higher heat resistance than nylon cordura.
  • Antique brass hardware and YKK zipper
  • Thick, durable full-grain US cowhide vegetable-tanned leather
  • Wide-mouth opening for easy access
  • Exterior zippered top pocket
  • 430 denier water-resistant nylon lining
  • Strong UV and weather-resistant marine-grade polyester thread

Poe and Company Flat Caps have their origins in Great Britain. We are proud to offer them by the centimeter in order to give our customers the closest to a custom fit available in a standard size. Many companies will only offer standard Small - XXX-Large. In doing so, they are able to limit their stock and manufacturing costs passing the off-sizes off to the customer. We want you to love the fit!

We also offer "Harris Tweed Flat Caps from our Friends at Glencroft." You can note a Glencroft Harris Tweed in the Flat Cap descriptions. They generally run 1cm smaller so if you measure as a 59 cm by measuring tape, please order a 58 cm Harris Tweed. 

Ladies and Childrens Flat Caps are one-size fits all. Both have an elastic back to accommodate ladies hair styles and growing children.
