Poe & Company Castleford Flat Cap in Capitol Tweed
Our Castleford Flat Cap is a bold and timeless classic Flat Cap with an extended, curved and stitched brim and a firm, tight contour. Made from our finest fabrics, this is our show piece! A direct ancestor to the classic, early 20th century "Boston Bruiser" which accents any style or fashion. Celebrating the hard-working heads that brought it to the US in the 1920s, The Castleford gets high marks in jeans or in a suit.
Capitol Tweed is Poe & Company Limited's most lavish grade of fabric in our flat cap line. Our Capitol Tweed is a majestic, steel-gray herringbone weave. It hosts a pencil thin, royal blue stripe front to back, with delicate crimson cross-overs. Its smooth texture comes from the work put in at the milliner who packs as many threads into an inch as possible. You can tell by touching this fabric that it simply looks and feels, well? Smooth! This is due to the 100% Yorkshire wool that weighs in at over 500 grams per square meter.

Flat Caps Sizing
Poe and Company Flat Caps have their origins in Great Britain. We are proud to offer them by the centimeter in order to give our customers the closest to a custom fit available in a standard size. Many companies will only offer standard Small - XXX-Large. In doing so, they are able to limit their stock and manufacturing costs passing the off-sizes off to the customer. We want you to love the fit!

We also offer "Harris Tweed Flat Caps from our Friends at Glencroft." You can note a Glencroft Harris Tweed in the Flat Cap descriptions. They generally run 1cm smaller so if you measure as a 59 cm by measuring tape, please order a 58 cm Harris Tweed.
Ladies and Childrens Flat Caps are one-size fits all. Both have an elastic back to accommodate ladies hair styles and growing children.
